Abstract

Service efficiency is a critical factor influencing customer satisfaction and organizational success in the global aviation industry. This study examines the impact of training and development programs on service efficiency among employees at Lufthansa Airways. A quantitative approach was adopted, with data collected from 270 employees across key operational departments using a structured questionnaire measuring training content relevance, training delivery methods, training frequency, and service efficiency. Descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analyses were conducted to assess relationships and predictive effects. Findings indicate that all training dimensions are positively associated with service efficiency, with content relevance and delivery methods being the most significant predictors. The study highlights the importance of well-structured, role-specific, and frequent training initiatives for enhancing employee performance and service quality. The results provide actionable insights for human resource and training managers to optimize training strategies, ensuring improved operational efficiency and sustained competitive advantage in the aviation sector.
